Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009 was a blast! Nothing like family coming together and spending the whole day opening gifts and eating, not to mention the white Christmas! ┬áLately Christmas has been focused around my nephew Alex, the only child in the family. He’s 18 months and loves wheels and telephones (he’ll pick up anything that resembles a phone and say “hello”). He got a tickle me Elmo and that sent him screaming in laughter and lot’s of trucks with wheels. One of our traditions is to get our picture taken with Santa, we hang them up in order and we have photo’s dating back to when my father was a boy and my mother a teenager. Some we are screaming, others were smiling, and then we have the one’s where we have that deer in the headlight look. One of my gifts to my brother and his wife and my parents were albums that I had made of my nephew of photo’s that I had taken of him over the year.

Merry Christmas!!!

I hope everyone has a great holiday in whatever you celebrate!!!

Alex in the snow

The day after the blizzard my nephew came over and we played in the snow. Alex is 18 months and growing so fast, his favorite things are to talk on the phone and say “hello”, and eat snow.

I’m up to my knees in snow!!!

I can’t not remember a winter with this much snow, I mean it is literally up to my knees. My poor lab was afraid of it, mostly because it covered her, she had to pee on the freshly shoveled walkway! It started last night and I don’t believe it has stopped once. So here I am snowed in which I have to say is quite relaxing. I went out earlier to today to take some photo’s, so I thought I would share them with you.

Getting in the Christmas sprit

There are two places on that I found that know how to decorate for the Holidays, Williamsburg VA and NYC! While up in New York, we mad a trip to 5th ave. to see all the window displays. My personal favorite is the Bergdorf Goodman window’s, when I was up there last year my mouth dropped with amazement and this year did the same. I would like to know the artist behind these windows because so much detail & work went into these 10 or more windows here are just a few photo’s

While in NYC Doug Gordon got a couple of shots of me.

BBP went to NYC !

BBP went to NYC for the week for a workshop. I met up with a colleague from Boston and the two us had a blast! The workshop covered weddings and boudoir along with the business. We took trips along Long Island and then into the city for some night shots. Here are a few of my favorite, more to come soon!
